5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.

5.2 Initial Calibration

For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to calibrate the scale before first use and periodically thereafter. A calibration weight is not included with the scale.
