Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your LiteFuze 500 Watt Step Up/Step Down Travel Voltage Converter. This device is designed to convert electrical voltage, allowing you to use appliances from one voltage standard in regions with a different voltage standard. It supports both stepping up voltage (e.g., 110V to 220V) and stepping down voltage (e.g., 220V to 110V).
Safety Information
WARNING: Read all safety instructions before use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Maximum Wattage: The converter has a maximum capacity of 500 watts. For continuous use, do NOT exceed 250 watts to prevent overheating and potential damage to the converter or connected devices.
- Voltage Selection: Always ensure the input voltage switch (115V/230V) on the converter is set correctly to match the local wall outlet voltage before plugging in the converter. Incorrect voltage selection can severely damage the converter and connected appliances.
- Grounding: This power converter is fully grounded from input to output, ensuring safe operation. Do not bypass or modify the grounding features.
- Thermal Fuse Protection: The converter is equipped with thermal fuse protection to safeguard against overheating and overload. If the converter stops working, check the fuse.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the converter during operation. Do not cover the ventilation openings.
- Moisture: Do not expose the converter to rain or moisture. Use only in dry locations.
- Children: Keep out of reach of children.

Setup
- Unpack the Converter: Carefully remove the converter from its packaging.
- Identify Local Voltage: Determine the voltage of the wall outlet you intend to use (e.g., 110V, 220V).
- Set Input Voltage Switch: Locate the 115V/230V switch on the side of the converter. Set this switch to match the local wall outlet voltage. For example, if your wall outlet is 110V-120V, set the switch to 115V. If your wall outlet is 220V-240V, set the switch to 230V.
- Connect Appliance: Plug your appliance into the universal outlet on the front of the converter. Ensure your appliance's wattage does not exceed the converter's capacity (500W max, 250W for continuous use).
- Plug in Converter: Plug the converter's power cord into the wall outlet.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: After ensuring the voltage switch is correctly set and your appliance is plugged in, press the illuminated On/Off switch to power on the converter. The switch will light up when active.
- Voltage Conversion:
- Step-Down Mode: If the input voltage switch is set to 230V (for 220-240V wall outlets), the converter will output 110-120V, allowing you to use North American appliances in 220-240V countries.
- Step-Up Mode: If the input voltage switch is set to 115V (for 110-120V wall outlets), the converter will output 220-240V, allowing you to use 220-240V appliances in North America.
- Monitor Appliance: Observe your appliance to ensure it is functioning correctly. If you notice any unusual noise, smell, or overheating, immediately turn off the converter and disconnect it.
- Power Off: When finished, press the illuminated On/Off switch to power off the converter, then unplug your appliance and the converter from the wall outlet.

Image: The converter supports various electronics such as electric shavers, laptops, cameras, and mobile chargers. Remember not to exceed 250W for continuous use.

Image: The converter is suitable for up to 500W electronics, including hair clippers, electronic toothbrushes, battery chargers, personal blenders, and electronic razors. It functions in both Step Down and Step Up modes.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the converter from the power source before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Fuse Replacement: If the converter stops functioning due to an overload, the internal fuse may have blown. The fuse is user-replaceable. Refer to the diagram below for the fuse location. Always replace with a fuse of the same type and rating.
- Storage: Store the converter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Converter not powering on | No power from wall outlet; On/Off switch not pressed; Blown fuse. | Check wall outlet with another device; Ensure On/Off switch is pressed and illuminated; Check and replace fuse if necessary. |
| Appliance not working | Incorrect voltage switch setting; Appliance wattage exceeds converter capacity; Faulty appliance. | Verify the 115V/230V switch matches local voltage; Ensure appliance wattage is within converter limits (max 500W, 250W continuous); Test appliance directly if possible. |
| Converter making unusual noise or overheating | Overload; Poor ventilation. | Immediately disconnect appliance and converter. Reduce load; Ensure converter has adequate airflow. If problem persists, discontinue use. |
