Setup and Installation

Mounting Instructions
- Select Location: Choose a suitable location under a cabinet, ensuring there is enough clearance for cans and bottles.
- Mark Holes: Use the provided mounting template (if available, otherwise measure carefully) to mark the screw locations on the underside of the cabinet.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Attach Unit: Secure the can opener to the cabinet using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached and stable.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
The GE Spacemaker EC-60 is designed for simple, hands-free operation.
Opening Cans
- Position Can: Lift the can opener lever and place the rim of the can under the guide wheel and against the cutting blade.
- Engage Cutter: Push the lever down firmly to pierce the can lid with the Power Pierce system.
- Start Operation: The can opener will automatically start cutting the lid. Release the can once the cutting action begins.
- Automatic Shut-off: The unit will automatically stop once the lid is fully cut.
- Remove Can: Carefully remove the can. The lid may remain attached to the magnetic holder.

Opening Bottles
The integrated bottle opener is located on the side of the unit. Simply slide the bottle cap under the opener and pull down to remove the cap.
Opening Plastic Bags
A dedicated slot for opening plastic bags is provided. Insert the edge of the plastic bag into the slot and pull gently to cut it open.
