2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Remove the cover by sliding it or gently prying it open.
- Insert one (1) AA alkaline battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly according to the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2.2 Initial Time Setting and Radio Reception
This clock features a radio reception function that automatically synchronizes the time. Upon battery installation, the clock will attempt to receive a time calibration signal.
- Place the clock in a location where it can easily receive radio signals, ideally near a window and away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
- The clock will automatically adjust to the correct time once a signal is successfully received. This process may take several minutes.
- If automatic reception fails, you may need to manually initiate reception or adjust the time manually (refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for manual time setting).
- The radio wave reception function can be turned ON or OFF. Ensure it is ON for automatic time synchronization.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Setting the Alarm
- Locate the alarm setting knob on the back of the clock (often a small rotating dial).
- Rotate the knob to set the desired alarm time.
- To activate the alarm, slide the alarm switch (usually labeled ON/OFF) to the ON position.
- When the alarm is set to ON, the second hand will stop moving to ensure quiet operation until the alarm sounds.
3.2 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large button on the top of the clock (or the designated snooze button). The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).
3.3 Light Function
To illuminate the clock face in the dark, press the light button (often the same button as the snooze button, or a separate button on the top/side). The light will activate for a short period (with afterglow function) to allow time checking.
3.4 Manual Time Adjustment (if radio reception is unavailable)
In areas without radio signal reception, or if you prefer manual setting:
- Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock.
- Rotate the knob to set the current time.
- Ensure the radio reception function is set to OFF if you wish to maintain manual time settings without interference from radio signals.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the casing or dial.
4.2 Battery Replacement
Replace the AA alkaline battery when the clock's functions (e.g., timekeeping, alarm, light) become weak or stop working. Refer to section 2.1 for battery installation instructions. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clock does not display correct time or stops. | Low battery; poor radio signal reception; radio reception function is OFF. | Replace the battery. Move the clock to a location with better signal reception (e.g., near a window). Ensure the radio reception function is ON. Manually set the time if necessary. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Alarm is not set; alarm switch is OFF; low battery. | Set the alarm time correctly. Slide the alarm switch to the ON position. Replace the battery. |
| Light function is dim or not working. | Low battery. | Replace the battery. |
