Setup

Battery Installation

1. Ensure the lantern is turned off.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the lantern.
3. Twist the cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
4. Insert four (4) D-cell batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

Initial Use

After installing batteries, the lantern is ready for use. Press the power button located on the front of the lantern to turn it on.

• Fourth Press: Turns the lantern OFF.

Using the Carabiner Handle

1. Locate the small latch on the side of the handle.
2. Press the latch to open the carabiner mechanism.
3. Hook the handle onto a suitable support (e.g., tent loop, branch).
4. Release the latch to secure the lantern in place.
