Setup
Before First Use

- Wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
- For the first use, it is recommended to lightly grease the plates with a small amount of cooking oil or butter.
Connecting to Power
Place the waffle maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is fully extended and plug it into a suitable 220V electrical outlet. The appliance is equipped with a German plug.

Operating Instructions
Preheating
- Close the waffle maker and plug it into the power outlet.
- The red power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the appliance is heating up.
- Wait for the green ready indicator light to illuminate. This indicates that the waffle maker has reached the optimal cooking temperature.
Making Waffles
- Once the green light is on, open the waffle maker using the heat-insulating handle.
- Pour your waffle batter evenly onto the lower cooking plate. Be careful not to overfill, as the batter will expand. The appliance is designed to make 5 heart-shaped waffles simultaneously.
- Carefully close the lid.
- Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and cooked to your desired crispness. The green light may cycle on and off during cooking to maintain temperature.
- Once cooked, open the lid and carefully remove the waffles using a heat-resistant, non-metallic utensil (e.g., wooden or silicone spatula) to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
- Close the lid to maintain heat for subsequent waffles, or unplug the appliance if you are finished.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your waffle maker.
Cleaning the Non-Stick Plates
- Always unplug the waffle maker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the cooking plates with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, a small amount of mild dish soap can be used.
