2. Setup and Initial Adjustment
2.1 Setting the Time
- Unscrew the Crown: Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case. Rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it loosens and can be pulled out.
- Pull the Crown to Position 2: Gently pull the crown out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
- Adjust Time: Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Advance the hands past 12 o'clock to ensure the AM/PM setting is correct for the 24-hour dial.
- Push and Screw Crown: Once the desired time is set, push the crown back in to the normal position and screw it clockwise firmly against the case to maintain water resistance.
2.2 Setting the Date and Day
- Unscrew the Crown: Rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it loosens.
- Pull the Crown to Position 1: Gently pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Adjust Date: Rotate the crown clockwise to change the date.
- Adjust Day: Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to change the day.
- Push and Screw Crown: Once the desired date and day are set, push the crown back in to the normal position and screw it clockwise firmly against the case to maintain water resistance.
Note: Avoid setting the date and day between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.

3. Operating the Watch
3.1 Timekeeping
- The watch displays time using three central hands: hour, minute, and second.
- A sub-dial indicates the 24-hour format, synchronizing with the main hour hand.
- Separate sub-dials display the current date and day of the week.
3.2 Anti-Reverse Bezel
The watch features an anti-reverse rotating bezel. This bezel can be rotated counter-clockwise to mark elapsed time. Align the bezel's zero mark with the minute hand at the start of an event, then read the elapsed time by noting the minute hand's position relative to the bezel's markings. The anti-reverse mechanism prevents accidental clockwise rotation, ensuring accurate measurement of elapsed time.
4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 100-meter water resistance. This means it is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and showering. However, it is not recommended for scuba diving. Ensure the crown is always screwed in tightly to maintain water resistance.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the seals.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and band periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stainless steel bands, a soft brush with mild soapy water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying.
4.3 Battery Replacement
The approximate battery life for this model is 3 years on an SR920SW battery. When the watch stops or the second hand moves erratically, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
5. Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Moving: Check if the crown is pushed in and screwed down completely. If the watch still does not move, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect Time/Date: Refer to Section 2 for instructions on how to correctly set the time, date, and day. Ensure the crown is fully screwed in after adjustment.
- Condensation Inside Crystal: If condensation appears inside the watch crystal, it may indicate a loss of water resistance. Contact a service center immediately.
