How to Use

Follow these instructions carefully for effective temporary dental repair. Wash hands thoroughly before beginning.

For Lost Fillings:

  1. Wash hands and rinse the tooth cavity with warm water. Do not dry.
  2. Use the provided applicator to remove a small amount of material from the vial.
  3. With wet fingers, roll the Dentemp material into a ball.
  4. Press the material firmly into the cavity.
  5. Bite down several times to ensure a proper bite. Do not lift your finger straight up as this might loosen the material in the cavity.
  6. Wait 15 minutes for the material to initially set. Remove any excess material with a damp cotton swab.
  7. Allow at least two (2) hours to set before eating.

  4. Fit the crown back on the tooth before applying new material. Make sure it fits properly. If you cannot do this, DO NOT PROCEED. See your dentist.
  5. Use the applicator to remove a small amount of material from the vial.
  6. Place a very small amount of material along the inside edge of the open end of the crown.
  7. Place the crown on the wet tooth and press firmly.
