Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions: Before operating the fog machine, carefully read and understand all safety and operating instructions.
• Power supply: Connect the unit only to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage as specified on the device.
• Fluid usage: Use only water-based fog fluid specifically designed for fog machines. Do not use flammable liquids, oil-based fluids, or any other substitutes. Using incorrect fluid can damage the unit and create fire hazards.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block ventilation openings.
• Placement: Place the fog machine on a stable, flat surface. Keep it away from heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials. Maintain a safe distance from people and objects.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the fog machine from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, level, and non-flammable surface. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the machine for proper ventilation and fog dispersion. Do not place the machine directly on carpet or other soft surfaces that may block the ventilation openings.

2. Filling the Fluid Tank

1. Unscrew the cap of the fluid tank located on top of the machine.
2. Carefully pour Ibiza water-based fog fluid into the tank. Do not overfill.
3. Securely screw the cap back onto the fluid tank.
4. Ensure the fluid hose inside the tank is submerged in the fluid.

Important: Only use high-quality, water-based fog fluid. Using other types of fluid can cause damage to the machine and void the warranty.

3. Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the power inlet on the rear of the fog machine, then plug the other end into a suitable grounded electrical outlet (220-240V AC, 50/60Hz).

4. DMX Connection (Optional)

For DMX control, connect a standard 3-pin DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the fog machine. If connecting multiple DMX devices, use the DMX OUT port to daisy-chain to the next device.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Warm-up

After connecting the power, turn on the main power switch. The machine will begin its warm-up cycle. The indicator light on the machine (or remote control) will illuminate, typically red, during this period. Once the machine reaches its operating temperature, the indicator light will turn green, signaling it is ready to produce fog. This process usually takes 5-8 minutes.

2. Fog Output Control

• Wireless Remote Control: Press the button on the wireless remote control to activate fog output. Release the button to stop.
• Manual Control: Some models may have a manual button directly on the unit for fog activation.
• DMX Control: If connected via DMX, use your DMX controller to trigger fog output and control LED colors. The LSM900LED uses 5 DMX channels. Refer to your DMX controller's manual for specific programming.

3. LED Control

The LSM900LED features 6 x 3W RGB 3-in-1 LEDs. When operating via DMX, these LEDs can be controlled to change color and intensity, illuminating the fog for various effects. The LEDs can produce a wide range of colors, including blue, red, and green, as shown in the examples below.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fog machine.

1. Cleaning the Fluid Tank

After each use, or if the machine will be stored for an extended period, empty any remaining fog fluid from the tank. Rinse the tank with distilled water to prevent residue buildup. For thorough cleaning, you may run a small amount of fog machine cleaning solution through the system (follow cleaner instructions).

2. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the internal components.

3. Storage

Store the fog machine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the fluid tank is empty and clean before storage.
