3. Adjusting Tripod Height
- To adjust the height of the center column, locate the crank arm.
- Rotate the crank arm to raise or lower the center column to your desired height. The center column can extend up to one foot, providing a maximum height of 82 inches (208.3 cm) with the column fully extended.

- Release the quick release lever to detach the plate from the head.

Operating the Fluid Head
1. Pan and Tilt Movement
The built-in fluid effect video head provides smooth, controlled movements for both horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) adjustments. The head offers 360° pan rotation and approximately 175° of tilt (+85° to -90°).
2. Pan and Tilt Locks
Independent pan and tilt locks are located on the fluid head. To lock a movement, rotate the corresponding knob clockwise until secure. To allow free movement, rotate the knob counter-clockwise. These locks can also be used to adjust resistance for desired drag levels before fully locking.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Leg Locks: Periodically check the flip-locks for proper tension. Adjust if necessary to ensure secure leg extension.
- Rubber Feet: The tripod comes with replaceable rubber feet. If the rubber feet wear out, they can be replaced. For use on soft surfaces like earth or sand, the rubber covers can be removed to expose the rounded foot spikes.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its included carry case in a dry, cool environment to protect it from dust and moisture.
Troubleshooting
- Tripod Instability: Ensure all leg flip-locks are securely closed and the mid-level spreader is properly engaged. Verify the tripod is on a flat, stable surface.
- Jerky Pan/Tilt Movement: Check that the pan and tilt locks are not overtightened. The fluid head is designed for smooth movement; if it feels stiff, ensure no debris is obstructing the mechanism.
- Camera Not Secure: Confirm the quick release plate is correctly attached to the camera and fully engaged in the fluid head, with the quick release lever locked.
