Setup

Setting the Time and Date

1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to the first or second click position. Refer to your watch's specific movement for exact positions.
2. Set the date (if applicable): If your watch has a date function, rotate the crown in one direction (usually clockwise) to advance the date until the correct date is displayed.
3. Set the time: Rotate the crown in either direction to move the hands to the correct time. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM for the 24-hour display if present.
4. Push in the crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back in fully to its original position. This will start the watch movement.

Adjusting the Strap

The watch features an adjustable brown 22 millimeter genuine leather strap designed to fit up to an 8-inch wrist circumference. Adjust the buckle to find a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist.

Operating Instructions

Indiglo Night-Light

Your Timex Expedition watch is equipped with the Indiglo night-light feature for easy readability in low-light conditions. To activate the Indiglo light, simply press and hold the crown. The entire dial will illuminate.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but it is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Avoid pressing the crown or any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water and harsh chemicals. If the strap gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally.

Battery Replacement

The watch requires 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). Battery life varies depending on usage, especially the frequency of Indiglo activation. When the watch stops running, it indicates the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Troubleshooting

• Watch not running:

• Date not changing:
