3.3 Unit Selection (KG/LB)
On the underside of the scale, locate the unit conversion button (usually labeled "UNIT" or "KG/LB"). Press this button to toggle between kilograms (KG) and pounds (LB) according to your preference. Ensure the desired unit is selected before weighing.
4. Operating Instructions
-
4.1 Initializing the Scale
Before first use or after moving the scale, it is recommended to initialize it. Gently step onto the scale, then immediately step off. The display will show "0.0" or a similar reading and then turn off. This calibrates the scale for accurate measurement.
-
4.2 Taking a Measurement
Step onto the scale with bare feet, standing still and centered on the platform. The scale will automatically turn on and display your weight on both the electro-mechanical dial and the backlit digital LCD. Remain still until the weight reading stabilizes.

Some models may include a daily reminder alarm function. Locate the alarm button on the underside of the scale. Press it to activate or deactivate the daily reminder. Refer to the specific markings on your scale for detailed instructions on setting the alarm time, if applicable.
5. Maintenance and Care
-
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the scale surface with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
-
5.2 Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it vertically or with heavy objects on top, as this may affect its accuracy over time.
-
5.3 Battery Replacement
If the display shows "Lo" or becomes dim, it's time to replace the batteries. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and replace the 3 AAA batteries with new ones, observing correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
6. Troubleshooting
