This dispenser offers three temperature settings: piping hot, cool, and ice-cold water, providing convenience for various beverage and meal preparations. It is designed for use with standard 3 or 5-gallon water bottles.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury and property damage, the user must read this entire guide before assembling, installing, and operating this dispenser.

  • Always place the dispenser on a level surface.
  • Ensure the dispenser is plugged into a grounded outlet.
  • Keep the dispenser away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Do not operate the dispenser without a water bottle installed.
  • The hot water function includes a child-resistant safety feature. Always engage this feature when not in use, especially around children.
  • Materials that come in contact with the water are BPA-Free certified.
  • Allow adequate ventilation around the back of the unit (approximately 4 inches from the wall).

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging.
  2. Place the dispenser on a hard, level surface. Ensure it is not against a wall or other obstruction to allow for proper ventilation.
  3. Clean the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth.

3.2 Installing the Water Bottle

  1. Remove the protective seal from the top of a 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
  2. Carefully lift the water bottle and invert it, placing it securely onto the bottle support collar at the top of the dispenser. Ensure the bottle is seated firmly.
  3. Allow water to fill the internal reservoirs. This may take a few minutes.

3.3 Initial Power-Up

  1. Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Locate the hot and cold water switches on the back of the unit. Turn both switches to the "ON" position.
  3. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the water to reach optimal hot and cold temperatures before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Dispensing Water

Place your cup or container under the desired spout. The dispenser features three distinct spouts for hot, cool, and cold water.

  • For Cold Water: Press the blue lever. The water will dispense at approximately 39.2°F (4°C).
  • For Cool Water: Press the middle lever. This provides water at room temperature.
  • For Hot Water: This spout is equipped with a child-resistant safety feature. Simultaneously slide the red safety button backward and press the red lever down. The water will dispense at approximately 188.5°F (87°C) or higher.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning the Drip Tray

The removable drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene. It is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

5.3 Internal Cleaning (Recommended Annually)

For thorough internal cleaning, refer to the detailed instructions on the Primo Water website or contact customer support. This typically involves draining the tanks and flushing with a mild cleaning solution.

6. Troubleshooting
