Setup
Follow these steps to set up your VidPro ZR300 stabilizer:

- Balance the Stabilizer:
The key to smooth footage is proper balancing. Adjust the position of your camera/device on the mounting plate and the counterweights at the bottom until the stabilizer remains level when held freely. Use the built-in bubble level for precise balancing.
- Adjust the Handle:
The handle is freely rotating. Ensure it moves smoothly without obstruction, allowing for fluid camera movements.
Operating
Once balanced, the ZR300 is ready for use. Hold the foam-covered hand grip firmly but comfortably. Practice walking and moving smoothly to achieve the desired cinematic effect. The freely rotating handle allows the camera to remain stable even as your hand moves.
- Walking Technique: Bend your knees slightly and walk with a smooth, gliding motion to minimize vertical camera shake.
- Panning and Tilting: Use your wrist to gently pan (horizontal movement) or tilt (vertical movement) the stabilizer for controlled shots.
- Low Angle Shots: The design allows for easy low-angle shooting by simply lowering your arm.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the stabilizer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the stabilizer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure.
