Introduction

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the battery and the charger unit.

2. Charger Connection

1. Locate the foldable prongs on the charger unit.
2. Extend the prongs and plug the charger into a standard AC 100-240V wall outlet.
3. The charger's LED indicator will typically show a green light, indicating it is in standby mode and ready for a battery.

3. Battery Insertion

1. Align the battery contacts with the charger contacts.
2. Gently slide the battery into the charger slot until it is securely seated. Do not force the battery.

Operating Instructions

Charging the Battery

1. Once the battery is correctly inserted into the plugged-in charger, the LED indicator will change from green to red, indicating that charging has begun.
2. Allow the battery to charge completely. The charging time may vary depending on the battery's current charge level.
3. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will change back to green.
4. Remove the fully charged battery from the charger.

Using the Battery in Your Camera

Refer to your camera's instruction manual for specific steps on how to insert and remove the battery. Ensure the battery is inserted with the correct orientation.

Maintenance

Battery Care

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% capacity.
• Keep battery contacts clean using a dry, soft cloth.

Charger Care

• Keep the charger clean and free from dust and moisture.

Troubleshooting

• Battery not charging (LED remains green or off):
  • Ensure the charger is securely plugged into a working power outlet.
  • Verify the battery is correctly inserted into the charger with contacts aligned.
  • Check if the battery or charger contacts are dirty; clean them if necessary.
• Charger not powering on:
  • Test the power outlet with another device to confirm it is functional.
  • Ensure the charger prongs are fully extended and making proper contact.
• Battery not holding charge:

  • Ensure the camera settings are not excessively draining the battery (e.g., continuous video recording, flash use).
