1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and proper installation and use of the VideoSecu Ultra Slim TV Wall Mount, model MF601B. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation to ensure correct setup and to prevent damage or injury.

The VideoSecu MF601B is a low-profile wall mount designed for LED, LCD, and Plasma TVs ranging from 23 to 65 inches, with compatibility for some models up to 70-75 inches. It supports VESA mounting patterns up to 600x400mm and offers a sturdy steel construction with a 165 lbs loading capacity. Its ultra-slim design positions the TV approximately 1.5 inches from the wall for a clean aesthetic.

5. Setup and Installation

Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: stud finder, drill, level, measuring tape, pencil, and screwdriver.

5.1. Pre-Installation Checks

• TV Compatibility: Verify your TV's weight and VESA mounting pattern (distance between mounting holes on the back of your TV) are within the mount's specifications (Max VESA 600x400mm, Max weight 165 lbs).
• Wall Type: Identify your wall type (wood stud, solid concrete/brick). Do not install on drywall alone.
• Location: Determine the desired height and center of your TV on the wall.

5.2. Attach TV Brackets to TV

1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
2. Identify the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
3. Attach the two TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the arms are vertically centered and securely fastened. The hooks on the bracket arms should point upwards.

5.3. Mount Wall Plate to Wall

1. Using a stud finder, locate the center of two adjacent wood studs. Mark their positions with a pencil. The wall plate is designed to fit studs up to 24 inches apart.
2. Hold the wall plate against the wall at your desired height, ensuring it is level using a spirit level. Mark the drilling locations for the lag bolts.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For wood studs, use a 7/32" (5.5mm) drill bit. For concrete/brick, use a 3/8" (10mm) drill bit and insert concrete anchors (if provided and applicable).
4. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the lag bolts and washers. Tighten them firmly, but do not overtighten.

5.4. Hang TV on Wall Plate

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
2. Align the hooks on the TV bracket arms with the top edge of the wall plate. Gently lower the TV, ensuring the brackets engage securely with the wall plate.
3. Once the TV is hanging, slide the security screws (located at the bottom of the TV bracket arms) into position and tighten them to lock the TV to the wall plate. This prevents accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating

The VideoSecu MF601B is a fixed-position wall mount. Once installed, your TV will remain in a static position, approximately 1.5 inches from the wall. There are no adjustable movements (tilt, swivel, or rotation) with this model.

Utilize the open wall plate design for routing cables behind the TV to maintain a clean and organized appearance.

• Cleaning: Dust the mount periodically with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
