2.1 Carbon Monoxide Hazard

  • This heater produces carbon monoxide, which is an odorless, colorless gas that can cause death.
  • Use only in well-ventilated areas. Adequate ventilation must be provided.
  • Never use this heater in living or sleeping areas.
  • Install a carbon monoxide detector in any enclosed space where the heater is used.

2.2 Fire and Burn Hazard

  • Keep combustible materials at least 10 feet (3 meters) from the front, sides, and top of the heater.
  • Do not use this heater near gasoline, paint, or other flammable liquids and vapors.
  • The heater surfaces become extremely hot during operation. Avoid contact.
  • Ensure the heater is placed on a large, sturdy, level base to prevent tipping.
  • The unit is equipped with an automatic overheat shutoff feature for enhanced safety.

2.3 Propane Gas Safety

  • Use only liquid propane (LP) gas.
  • Always connect the heater to an LP gas cylinder with the provided hose and regulator assembly.
  • Check for gas leaks using a soap and water solution before each use. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, tighten the connection or replace the faulty part. Do not operate the heater if a leak is present.
