Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this fireplace.
- This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any fireplace is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.
- Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug or after the fireplace malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return fireplace to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Never locate fireplace where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect fireplace, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- All electrical fireplaces have hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this fireplace only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug fireplaces directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This fireplace includes a Safer Plug, which monitors the temperature of the plug and automatically shuts off power if it detects unsafe conditions. If the plug shuts off, unplug it, wait 5 minutes, and plug it back in.

Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all packing materials are removed from the unit before use. Keep packaging for future storage or shipping.
Placement
Place the electric fireplace insert on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from combustible materials as specified in the safety instructions. This insert is designed to be used with ClassicFlame mantels, TV stands with insert capacity, or flush-mount trim kits (sold separately).
Do not block the air intake or exhaust vents located on the unit. Maintain a minimum of 3 feet (0.9 m) clearance from the front of the fireplace to any combustible materials.
Electrical Connection
This appliance is for use on 120 Volts. The cord has a plug as shown in Figure A. Connect the fireplace directly into a properly grounded 120V, 15 Amp circuit. Do not use an extension cord or power strip. The unit is equipped with a Safer Plug, which continuously monitors the plug's temperature to prevent overheating.

Operating Instructions
Control Panel
The control panel is located on the top right of the fireplace insert. It includes buttons for Power, Flame Settings, Heater, and Timer. Refer to the diagram in your physical manual for exact button locations.
Remote Control
The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all fireplace functions from a distance. Ensure the two AAA batteries are correctly installed. Point the remote directly at the fireplace insert for optimal response.
Power On/Off
Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the fireplace on or off. The unit will remember the last flame and heat settings when turned back on.
Flame Effects (Spectrafire Plus)
The Spectrafire Plus technology offers extensive customization for flame appearance:
- Flame Speed: Adjust through five settings from a fast roaring fire to a gentle flicker.
- Brightness: Select from five adjustable brightness levels.
- Flame Colors: Choose from five distinct flame effect colors: Spectrafire, Sapphire, Amethyst, Campfire, Midnight Fire, or an auto-cycle mode.
Use the dedicated flame control buttons on the control panel or remote to cycle through these options.
Heater Operation
The 4,600 BTU heater provides supplemental zone heating for areas up to 400 square feet. The flame effect can be operated independently of the heater, allowing for year-round ambiance.
- Press the HEATER button to activate the heating function.
- Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set your desired room temperature. The adjustable thermostat will maintain the set temperature.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Always unplug the fireplace before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays. Regularly vacuum the air intake and exhaust vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and safety.
For glass cleaning, use a soft cloth and a glass cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the unit.
