3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
- Insert two AAA rechargeable batteries (not included, but required for operation) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
- Connect the small plug of the AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the base unit.
- Plug the AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3.3 Initial Charging
Place the handset on the base unit. The handset should display a charging indicator. For optimal battery performance, charge the handset continuously for at least 15 hours before its first use, even if the display indicates a full charge sooner.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call:
- Press the TALK button.
- Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
- To end the call, press the END/IO button or place the handset back on the base unit.
- To Receive a Call:
- When the phone rings, press the TALK button.
- To end the call, press the END/IO button or place the handset back on the base unit.
4.2 Using the Speakerphone
During a call, press the TALK button again to activate the speakerphone function. Press it again to switch back to the earpiece.
4.3 Phonebook Functions
The phonebook can store up to 50 entries.
- To Store a Number:
- Press MENU.
- Navigate to "PHONEBOOK" using the CID/V+ or RD/V- buttons.
- Press OK.
- Select "ADD NEW" and press OK.
- Enter the name and number, then press OK to save.
- To Dial from Phonebook:
- Press MENU.
- Navigate to "PHONEBOOK" and press OK.
- Scroll through entries using CID/V+ or RD/V-.
- Press TALK to dial the selected entry.
4.4 Caller ID (CLI)
The phone stores the last 20 incoming call numbers. To review:
- Press the CID/V+ button to access the Caller ID list.
- Use CID/V+ or RD/V- to scroll through the entries.
- To dial a number from the list, press TALK.
4.5 Outgoing Call Memory
The phone stores the last 10 outgoing call numbers. To review and redial:
- Press the RD/V- button to access the outgoing call list.
- Use CID/V+ or RD/V- to scroll through the entries.
- To dial a number from the list, press TALK.
4.6 Mute Function
During a call, press the MUTE/INT button to mute your microphone. The other party will not hear you. Press MUTE/INT again to unmute.
4.7 Ringer Volume and Ringtones
Settings for ringer volume and ringtone melodies can be adjusted through the MENU options. Refer to the on-screen prompts for navigation.

- Cleaning: Wipe the phone and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
