5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Answering a Call

  1. When a visitor presses the call button on the JO-DA door station, the JO-1MD master station will chime and display the visitor's image.
  2. Press the TALK button (or equivalent touch button) on the master station to establish two-way hands-free communication with the visitor.
  3. To end the conversation, press the END CALL button (or equivalent). The call will automatically terminate after a set period if no action is taken.

5.2. Monitoring

You can monitor the area outside your door at any time without a visitor pressing the call button.

  • Press the MONITOR button (or equivalent) on the JO-1MD master station. The screen will display the live video feed from the JO-DA door station.
  • To end monitoring, press the MONITOR button again or wait for the automatic timeout.

5.3. Door Release (If Connected)

If an electric door release mechanism is connected, you can unlock the door from the master station.

  • During a call or while monitoring, press the DOOR RELEASE button (or equivalent) on the JO-1MD master station. The door will unlock for a short period.

5.4. Adjustments

The JO-1MD master station may have controls for adjusting volume, brightness, and other settings. Refer to the specific master station manual for detailed instructions on these adjustments.
