5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
2. Inspect: Check the cutter and all accessories for any signs of damage. Do not use if any part is damaged.
3. Initial Sharpening: For a new cutter, it is recommended to sharpen the blades first. Lightly press the built-in sharpener for 1-3 seconds to automatically sharpen the blade.
4. Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging the cutter into a 110V power outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare Material: Lay the fabric or material flat on a stable cutting surface. For precise cuts, it is advisable to draw your cutting lines with chalk before operating the cutter.
2. Adjust Knife Guard: The front knife-guard can be adjusted up and down to set the desired cutting thickness. This also acts as a safety device.
3. Power On: Plug the cutter into a 110V power outlet.
4. Activate Cutter: Press the trigger switch to start the motor. Be careful of the trigger switch and always unplug when not in use.
5. Cutting: Guide the cutter along your drawn lines. The octagonal blade and high speed (2400 RPM) ensure quick, clean, and smooth cuts. The cutter is designed for both straight and curved cutting. It can cut multi-layer cloth, fabric, cotton, silk, synthetic fiber, and leather up to 25mm (1 inch) thick.
6. Handling Heavy Materials: Due to its powerful motor, the machine weighs approximately 3.1lb. For extended use or heavy materials, it is recommended to use both hands or move it by hand-pushing the blade base to save labor.
7. Power Off: Release the trigger switch to stop the motor. Always unplug the cutter from the power outlet immediately after use.

7. Maintenance

1. Blade Sharpening: The cutter has a built-in sharpening stone. Lightly press the sharpener for 1-3 seconds to automatically sharpen the blade. It is recommended to sharpen the blade before each use or as needed to maintain optimal cutting performance.
2. Cleaning: After each use, pay attention to clean any remaining cloth scraps on the blade and around the cutting mechanism. This prevents the blade from jamming due to long-term accumulation of debris.
