Operating Instructions

The SadoTech Wireless Doorbell System offers customizable sounds and volume levels for a personalized experience.

Pairing Transmitters with Receiver:

Your doorbell system typically comes pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or you add new transmitters:

  1. Plug in the receiver to an electrical outlet.
  2. On the receiver, press and hold the volume button and the chime selection button simultaneously for a few seconds until the receiver enters learning mode (often indicated by a light flash or a specific sound).
  3. Immediately press the push button on the transmitter you wish to pair. The receiver should chime, indicating successful pairing.
  4. Repeat for any additional transmitters.

Changing Chime Sounds:

The system offers over 50 unique chime sounds. To change the chime:

  • On the receiver, press the 'chime selection' button (often indicated by a music note or similar icon) repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies.
  • Stop pressing when you hear your desired chime. The receiver will remember your selection.

Adjusting Volume:

The receiver has 4 adjustable volume settings, ranging from 30dB to 110dB.

  • On the receiver, press the 'volume control' button (often indicated by a speaker icon) repeatedly to cycle through the volume levels.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

The transmitters are powered by an A23 battery, which typically lasts up to 3 years. When the transmitter stops working or its range decreases, it may be time to replace the battery.

  • Gently open the transmitter casing (a small screwdriver may be needed).
  • Remove the old A23 battery.
  • Insert a new A23 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Close the casing securely.

Cleaning:

Wipe the doorbell components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

Weather Resistance:

The SadoTech Wireless Doorbell is designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F, making it suitable for various outdoor conditions.

Troubleshooting

  • Doorbell not chiming:
    • Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Ensure the transmitter battery is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
    • Re-pair the transmitter and receiver as described in the 'Operating Instructions' section.
    • Verify that the transmitter is within the operating range (up to 1000 feet) of the receiver. Obstacles like thick walls or metal structures can reduce range.
  • Chime sound is too low or too loud:
    • Adjust the volume using the 'volume control' button on the receiver.
  • Unexpected chimes:
    • Ensure no other wireless devices are interfering with the doorbell's frequency.
    • If the issue persists, try un-pairing and re-pairing the transmitter and receiver.
