3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). Batteries are included with your purchase.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Initial Setup and Atomic Time Synchronization

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize with the atomic time signal. This process may take several minutes to a few hours, depending on your location and signal strength. For best reception, place the clock near a window, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

• The atomic signal icon (often a tower or wave symbol) on the display will flash during synchronization and become solid once a successful signal is received.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Setting Time, Date, and Day Manually

1. Press and hold the SET button (often indicated by a clock icon) for approximately 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
2. The first setting (e.g., Time Zone) will begin to flash. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the value.
3. Press SET again to confirm the selection and move to the next setting (Year, Month, Day, 12/24-hour format, Hour, Minute, Second, Language, DST).
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 until all desired settings are adjusted.
5. Press SET one last time or wait for 10 seconds for the clock to exit setting mode automatically.

4.2. Setting the Alarm

1. Locate the ALARM ON/OFF switch on the front of the clock. Slide it to the ON position. A red indicator will become visible, and an alarm icon will appear on the display.
2. Press and hold the ALARM button (often indicated by a bell icon) for 3 seconds. The alarm hour will flash.
3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
