3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are securely connected. The K3 Follow-Me utilizes quick-connect fittings for easy assembly.

1. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the four wheels to the base of the unit.
2. Connect High-Pressure Hose: Connect the 15-foot high-pressure hose to the pressure washer's outlet and to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3. Connect Water Supply: Attach a standard garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is turned on fully before starting the unit.
4. Connect Power Cord: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit is designed for 120V AC power.
5. Prime the Pump: Before turning on the power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any trapped air. This primes the pump and prevents damage.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the unit is set up and primed, you can begin your cleaning tasks.

4.1 Using the Spray Wands

• Vario Power Spray Wand: This wand allows you to adjust the pressure by twisting the nozzle. Use lower pressure settings for delicate surfaces like vehicles or painted wood, and higher pressure for tougher dirt on concrete or stone.
• Dirt Blaster Spray Wand: This wand provides a concentrated, rotating jet for maximum cleaning power on stubborn dirt and grime. It is ideal for heavily soiled surfaces but should be used with caution on delicate materials due to its intensity.

4.2 Using the Detergent Tank

1. Open the cap of the integrated detergent tank located on the top of the unit.
2. Pour appropriate pressure washer detergent into the tank. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents not designed for pressure washers.
3. To apply detergent, ensure the Vario Power wand is set to the lowest pressure/detergent setting. The unit will automatically draw detergent from the tank and mix it with the water.
4. After applying detergent, switch back to a high-pressure setting or the Dirt Blaster wand to rinse the surface thoroughly.

4.3 Important Safety Information

5. Maintenance

• After Each Use:
  • Turn off the water supply and power.
  • Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
  • Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.
  • Drain any remaining water from the pump by running the unit for a few seconds with no water supply connected (do not run dry for extended periods).
  • Clean the detergent tank if used.
• Storage:
  • Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free location.
  • Protect the pump from freezing temperatures by using a pump protector or by storing it in a heated area.
  • Coil the high-pressure hose and power cord neatly and store them on the unit's integrated storage points.
  • Store spray wands securely on the unit.
• Filter Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.

If you encounter issues with your pressure washer, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• No Power:
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  • Ensure the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) on the plug has not tripped. Press the "Reset" button if necessary.
  • Verify that the power switch on the unit is in the "ON" position.
• No Water Pressure / Low Pressure:
  • Ensure the water supply faucet is fully open.
  • Check that the garden hose is not kinked or blocked.
  • Inspect the water inlet filter for clogs and clean if necessary.
