Setup and Assembly

The cabinet exterior comes pre-assembled. Interior components and mounting require assembly.

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cabinet and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain packaging for potential returns.
2. Placement: Choose a suitable location for the cabinet. Ensure the surface is level and capable of supporting the cabinet's weight when loaded.
3. Interior Configuration:
   • Install the full-width steel shelf at the desired height using the provided hardware.
   • Position the three removable half-shelves as needed for ammunition, pistols, or other items.
   • Attach the adjustable barrel rests to accommodate your firearms. The extended design supports tactical weapons.

4. Securing the Cabinet: For maximum security and to prevent tipping, the cabinet must be securely mounted to the floor. Use the provided mounting hardware and follow local safety guidelines for installation.

Operation

The Stack-On TC-16-GB-K-DS cabinet utilizes a key-operated 3-point locking system.

1. Locking: Close the cabinet door firmly. Insert the key into the cylinder lock and turn it to engage the 3-point locking mechanism. Remove the key and store it in a secure location away from the cabinet.
2. Unlocking: Insert the correct key into the cylinder lock and turn it to disengage the locking mechanism. The door can then be opened.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper function of your security cabinet.

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
• Lock Mechanism: Periodically check the lock for smooth operation. Do not lubricate the lock cylinder unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
• Hardware: Ensure all mounting hardware and interior shelf supports remain tight. Tighten if necessary.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cabinet, consider the following:

• Door not closing/locking properly: Check for any obstructions inside the cabinet or around the door frame. Ensure the cabinet is level and securely mounted.
• Key difficult to turn: Ensure the correct key is being used. Do not force the key. Check for debris in the lock cylinder.
