6.2 Lens Mounted Control Ring
The control ring around the lens can be customized to adjust various settings quickly, such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, or zoom, depending on the selected shooting mode.

6.3 GPS Functionality
The built-in GPS module records location information with your photos, allowing you to geotag your images.
- To enable/disable GPS, navigate to the Setup Menu.
- Important: Turn off GPS when the camera is not in use to conserve battery life, as it continues to search for signals even when the camera is off.
6.4 Wi-Fi with NFC
Connect your camera to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi and NFC for remote control, image transfer, and sharing.
- Install the Panasonic Image App on your smart device.
- Use NFC (Near Field Communication) for quick pairing with compatible devices by touching them together.
- Alternatively, connect via Wi-Fi by selecting the camera's Wi-Fi network from your device's settings.
7. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens brush to gently remove dust. For smudges, use a lens cleaning solution applied to a cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Cleaning the Camera Body: Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use organic solvents or strong chemicals.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. Charge the battery fully before extended storage.
- Storage: When not in use for long periods, remove the battery and memory card. Store the camera in a dry, dust-free environment.
- Memory Card Formatting: Regularly format your memory card in the camera to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Note: Formatting erases all data on the card. Back up important files first.
