Installation Instructions

- Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box controlling the power to the installation location and turn off the power.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is level and firmly attached.
- Make Electrical Connections:
- Connect the fixture's black wire to the house's black (live) wire.
- Connect the fixture's white wire to the house's white (neutral) wire.
- Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house's ground wire (or green screw on the mounting plate).
- Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape for added safety.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws or nuts. Ensure no wires are pinched.
- Install Bulb: Insert the appropriate light bulb (not included) into the socket. Refer to the specifications for maximum wattage.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

Important: Ensure all seals and gaskets are properly seated to maintain the fixture's weather resistance.
Operating Instructions
Once installed and power is restored, the Canarm IOL210 Outdoor Lantern operates via your home's standard wall switch or external timer/photocell system (not included).
- Turning On/Off: Use the connected wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
