Setup

1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the AC power cord to the clock radio.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

2. Battery Backup Installation

The clock radio requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for time and alarm settings backup during power outages.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Insert 2 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Antenna Setup

For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the FM wire antenna. Adjust its position for the best signal.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Clock

  1. Press and hold the TIME SET button until the hour digits flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the hour.
  3. Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to set the minute.
  4. Press TIME SET again to confirm and exit.

2. Radio Operation

The clock radio features FM digital tuning with presets.

  1. Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn on the radio.
  2. Press the FM button to select FM band.
  3. To tune to a station:
    • Press TUNE + or TUNE - to manually adjust the frequency.
    • Press and hold TUNE + or TUNE - for automatic station search.
  4. To save a preset station:
    • Tune to the desired station.
    • Press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes.
    • Press PRESET + or PRESET - to select a preset number.
    • Press PRESET again to confirm.
  5. To recall a preset station, press PRESET + or PRESET - repeatedly.
  6. Adjust volume using the VOLUME + or VOLUME - buttons.

3. Setting Alarms (Dual Alarm)

The unit features dual alarms, allowing two separate wake-up times.

  1. To set Alarm 1:
    • Press and hold the ALARM 1 SET button until the hour digits flash.
    • Press HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the alarm time.
    • Press ALARM 1 SET again. The alarm source (Buzzer or Radio) will flash.
    • Press ALARM 1 MODE to select BUZZER or RADIO.
    • Press ALARM 1 SET to confirm.
  2. To set Alarm 2, follow the same steps using the ALARM 2 SET and ALARM 2 MODE buttons.
  3. To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the respective ALARM 1 ON/OFF or ALARM 2 ON/OFF button. An indicator will light up when the alarm is active.
  4. When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button for a temporary pause. The alarm will sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
  5. To turn off an alarm completely, press the respective ALARM ON/OFF button.

4. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.

  1. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 120, 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, or OFF).
  2. The radio will turn off automatically after the selected time.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Disconnect the power cord before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the unit.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these may damage the surface.

Battery Replacement

  • Replace backup batteries annually or when the battery low indicator appears.
  • Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
No power
  • Ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet and the unit.
  • Check if the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
Poor radio reception
  • Fully extend and reposition the FM wire antenna.
  • Move the unit away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
Alarm does not sound
  • Ensure the alarm is activated (indicator light is on).
  • Verify the alarm time is set correctly.
  • Check the alarm volume level if set to radio.
Time/settings lost after power outage
  • Install 2 AA batteries for backup.
  • Replace old backup batteries.
