Operating Instructions

Powering On and Off

1. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. To turn the vacuum on, press the red power button located on the main body.
3. To turn the brush bar on or off for different floor types, use the silver toggle button.
4. To turn the vacuum off, press the red power button again.

Using the Wand and Attachments

The Dyson DC65 features a removable wand for versatile cleaning. To detach the wand:

1. Ensure the vacuum is in the upright position and powered off.
2. Unwind the power cord from the cord wraps.
3. Locate the red lever on the handle and push it to the side to release the wand.

Maintenance

Emptying the Clear Bin

1. Press the red button on the top of the clear bin to release it from the main body.
2. Hold the bin over a trash receptacle.
3. Press the red button again to open the bottom flap and release the debris.
4. Close the bottom flap and reattach the clear bin to the vacuum.

Filter Cleaning
