2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
Your Rossmax AC 701 monitor requires 4 AA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the device. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -), and close the cover securely.
2.2 Connecting the Cuff
Connect the air tube from the cuff securely into the air jack located on the side of the monitor. Ensure a snug fit to prevent air leakage during measurement.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Before Measurement
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Rest for at least 15 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Place the cuff directly on your bare upper arm, approximately 1.5-2.5 cm above the elbow joint, with the air tube facing downwards.
3.2 Taking a Measurement
The Rossmax AC 701 features a simple one-touch automatic operation:
- Ensure the cuff is correctly applied to your arm.
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate to the appropriate pressure.
- Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- Once the measurement is complete, your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse readings will be displayed on the screen. The device will also indicate if an Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) or Hypertension Risk is detected.

3.3 Memory Function
The device can store 120 records for two users, complete with date and time stamps. It also provides an average of the last three readings. To access stored readings, press the 'M' (Memory) button. Pressing it repeatedly will cycle through the stored measurements.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild detergent, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
4.2 Storage
Store the device in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Keep it out of reach of children.
4.3 Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace all four AA batteries with new ones simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
