8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your slow cooker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Appliance does not turn on. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the 'Power' button has been pressed. |
| iStir system is not stirring. | Verify that the iStir motor housing is correctly attached to the lid and the paddle is properly inserted. The stirring function activates after an initial 2-hour delay. If the issue persists, ensure the motor housing is clean and free of obstructions. |
| Food is not cooking evenly. | Ensure the lid is properly seated on the stoneware. For recipes without the iStir system, occasional manual stirring may be required. For iStir use, ensure the correct paddle is used for the food consistency. |
| Food is overcooked or undercooked. | Adjust cooking time and temperature settings according to your recipe and desired results. Ensure the stoneware is not overfilled or underfilled. |
| Lid does not fit securely. | Check for any food debris or obstructions around the rim of the stoneware or lid. Ensure the lid is placed correctly. |
