7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Beats Studio Wired 2.0 headphones, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
No sound or low volume.
  • Ensure the audio cable is securely connected to both the headphones and the audio source.
  • Check the volume level on your audio device.
  • Verify the headphone battery is charged. The headphones require power for audio output and ANC.
  • Try using the other 3.5mm audio cable if available.
Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC) not working or "hissing" sound.
  • Ensure the headphones are powered on.
  • A faint "hissing" sound is normal when ANC is active, especially in quiet environments, as it indicates the noise cancellation circuitry is working.
  • If the hiss is excessive or there's no noise cancellation, ensure the ear cups are properly sealed around your ears.
Headphones not charging.
  • Check if the USB charging cable is properly connected to the headphones and the power adapter/USB port.
  • Ensure the USB power adapter is securely plugged into a working wall outlet.
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter.
RemoteTalk cable controls not responding.
  • Ensure the RemoteTalk cable is fully inserted into both the headphones and your audio device.
  • Some functions may not be fully compatible with all non-Apple devices.
  • Try restarting your audio device.
