Setup and Installation
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape.
- Inspect the freezer for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the retailer immediately.
- Keep packaging materials for future storage or transport if needed.
2. Placement
- Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded.
- Ensure adequate air circulation around the freezer. Maintain at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space from the back and sides, and 10 inches (25.4 cm) from the top.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., stoves, radiators) as these can increase energy consumption.
- This compact freezer is suitable for various small spaces, including bedrooms, dorms, garages, and offices.

3. Leveling
- The freezer must be level for proper operation. Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the unit to achieve a stable and level position.
- A level unit ensures the door closes properly and prevents excessive vibration.
4. Power Connection
- Connect the freezer to a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
- Allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.
5. Door Reversibility
The freezer features a reversible-swing door, allowing you to change the direction it opens to best suit your space and layout. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for the procedure to reverse the door swing.

1. Temperature Control
- The freezer is equipped with a mechanical temperature control knob.
- The temperature range can be adjusted from approximately -10°F to 2°F (-23°C to -17°C).
- Turn the knob to the desired setting. A lower number indicates a warmer temperature, and a higher number indicates a colder temperature.
- Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.

- Ensure proper packaging of food items to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Unplug the freezer before cleaning.
- Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Regularly clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit to maintain efficiency.
2. Defrosting
This is a manual defrost freezer. Frost buildup on the interior walls can reduce cooling efficiency. Defrost the unit when the frost layer is about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick. To defrost:
- Unplug the freezer.
- Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
- Leave the door open to allow frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before plugging the unit back in and returning food.
