Product Overview
Plan the day with confidence with your own weather and weather prediction information - pinpoint accuracy right from your own backyard. The AcuRite Color Digital Weather Station uses patented Self-Calibrating Technology to provide your personal forecast of 12 to 24 hour weather conditions. Self-Calibrating Forecasting is generated from weather data measured by a sensor in your yard - giving you the most accurate forecast available for your exact location. The vibrantly colorful, backlit LCD screen includes indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, moon phase, barometric pressure with weather trend indicator, time, date and a humidity level icon to easily convey a low, high or ideal humidity level. Intelli-Time clock automatically updates itself for Daylight Saving Time. Display stands upright for tabletop use. The outdoor sensor features powerful wireless technology, a weather-resistant design and an integrated hanger for easy mounting. It's more than accurate, it's AcuRite.

- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units annually or when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones.
- Sensor Placement Check: Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from direct elements and has a clear path for wireless transmission.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| No outdoor sensor data | Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed in the sensor. Move the sensor closer to the display unit. Check for sources of wireless interference (e.g., large metal objects, electronics). Perform a hard reset by removing batteries from both units for 5 minutes, then reinserting them, starting with the outdoor sensor. |
| Inaccurate temperature/humidity readings | Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Verify the indoor unit is not near vents or direct sunlight. Allow 20 minutes for readings to stabilize after setup. |
| Display screen is dim or blank | Check if the unit is plugged into a power outlet (if applicable) or if batteries need replacement. Adjust the brightness setting using the controls on the unit. |
| Weather forecast is incorrect | The Self-Calibrating Forecasting requires 14 days of continuous operation to gather pressure data for accurate predictions. Ensure the unit has been running for this period. |
