1. Introduction

2. Setup and Battery Installation

The Redi-Remote requires four (4) AAA batteries for operation. No programming is required; the remote is pre-configured to work with the specified TV models immediately after battery installation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover off in the direction indicated by the arrow (if present).
  3. Insert four new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

Note: This remote control is designed to operate only the specified television models and cannot be programmed to control auxiliary devices such as DVD players, sound systems, or cable boxes.

3. Operating the Remote Control

The remote control features a standard layout for easy navigation and control of your television. It includes a sliding cover that reveals additional, model-specific functions.

3.1. Top Section Controls

  • PWR (Power): Turns the television on or off.
  • TV/VIDEO: Switches between TV and video input sources.
  • SLEEP: Activates the sleep timer function.
  • DISP (Display): Shows on-screen display information.
  • VOL + / VOL - (Volume): Increases or decreases the audio volume.
  • CH + / CH - (Channel): Changes the television channel up or down.
  • MUTE: Silences or restores the audio.

  • Number Pad (0-9): Directly enters channel numbers.

3.2. Lower Section Controls (Slide Down)

The lower half of the remote control contains additional functions. To access these, slide the cover downwards as indicated by the "SLIDE DOWN" label on the remote.

  • PICTURE SIZE: Adjusts the aspect ratio or picture size.
  • EXIT: Exits from menus or on-screen displays.
  • AUDIO: Accesses audio settings or modes.
  • A.P. SELECT: Selects audio program options.
  • CCD: Activates or deactivates Closed Captioning.
  • Directional Arrows (Up, Down, Left, Right): Navigates through menus and options.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace all four batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
