4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

4.3 Loading Nails

1. Disconnect the air supply before loading nails.
2. Pull back the magazine follower until it locks in the open position.
3. Insert a strip of 18-gauge brad nails into the magazine with the points facing down. Ensure the nails are the correct length (5/8 inch to 2 inches) for the tool.
4. Release the magazine follower, allowing it to push the nails forward until they are seated against the nosepiece.
5. Reconnect the air supply.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Depth of Drive

The BN200SB features a tool-free depth of drive adjustment. Locate the adjustment dial or lever near the nosepiece. Rotate the dial or move the lever to increase or decrease the nail's penetration depth. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth before working on your project.

5.2 Firing the Nailer

1. Ensure all safety precautions are followed.
2. Place the nosepiece firmly against the workpiece where the nail is to be driven.
3. Press the trigger to fire a nail. The tool is equipped with a contact trip mechanism, meaning the nosepiece must be depressed against the surface for the tool to fire.

4. Use pliers or a screwdriver to gently remove the jammed nail. Avoid forcing it, as this can damage the tool.
5. Once the jam is cleared, reload nails and reconnect the air supply. Test the tool on a scrap piece of material.
