3. Setup and First Use

Before using your Gastroback 42325 Milk Frother for the first time, please follow these steps:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Clean: Wash the milk jug interior and the frothing spiral with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the frother on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources.
  4. Insert Spiral: Place the frothing spiral securely onto the central pin inside the jug.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50/60Hz).

4. Operating Instructions

The Gastroback 42325 Milk Frother offers versatile options for preparing milk-based beverages.

4.1. Preparing Hot Milk Foam

  1. Ensure the frothing spiral is correctly placed inside the jug.
  2. Pour cold milk into the jug. Do not exceed the "MAX FOAM" fill line (approximately 350 ml).
  3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
  4. Press the illuminated "Soft Touch" on/off switch once. The light will illuminate, and the frother will begin to heat and froth the milk.
  5. The frother will automatically switch off once the desired temperature and foam consistency are reached.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the frothed milk.

4.2. Preparing Cold Milk Foam

  1. Ensure the frothing spiral is correctly placed inside the jug.
  2. Pour cold milk into the jug. Do not exceed the "MAX FOAM" fill line (approximately 350 ml).
  3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
  4. Press and hold the illuminated "Soft Touch" on/off switch for approximately 2 seconds. The light will illuminate, and the frother will begin to froth the milk without heating.
  5. The frother will automatically switch off after a few minutes, or you can press the button again to stop it manually.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the frothed milk.

4.3. Heating Milk or Cocoa

To heat milk or cocoa without frothing, remove the frothing spiral from the jug.

  1. Remove the frothing spiral from the jug.
  2. Pour milk or cocoa into the jug. Do not exceed the "MAX HEAT" fill line (approximately 250 ml).
  3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
  4. Press the illuminated "Soft Touch" on/off switch once. The light will illuminate, and the frother will begin to heat the liquid.
  5. The frother will automatically switch off once the desired temperature is reached.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the heated liquid.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your milk frother.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Cool Down: Allow the frother to cool completely before handling.
  3. Remove Components: Remove the lid and the frothing spiral from the jug.
  4. Wash Jug Interior: Wash the interior of the jug and the frothing spiral with warm water and a mild detergent. The non-stick coating makes cleaning easy. Use a soft sponge or cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
