Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The timer display will activate once the battery is correctly installed.

Operating Instructions

Mode Selection

The timer features a mode switch on the side or back with three positions: CLOCK, COUNT-UP, and TIMER. Slide the switch to select the desired operating mode.

Setting the Clock

  1. Slide the mode switch to the CLOCK position.
  2. Press the HR button to set the hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to set the minute.
  4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the SEC button while in CLOCK mode.

Using the Timer (Count-Down)

  1. Slide the mode switch to the TIMER position.
  2. Press the HR, MIN, and SEC buttons to set your desired countdown time.
  3. Press START/STOP to begin the countdown.
  4. To pause the timer, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
  5. When the time reaches zero, a loud alarm will sound. The timer will then automatically begin counting up to show elapsed time since the alarm.
  6. Press START/STOP to silence the alarm and stop the count-up.
  7. Press CLEAR to reset the timer to zero.

Memory Function

The timer stores the last set countdown time. To recall this time:

  1. Ensure the mode switch is in the TIMER position.
  2. Press the MEMORY button. The last set countdown time will appear on the display.
  3. Press START/STOP to begin the countdown with the recalled time.

Using the Count-Up Function (Stopwatch)

  1. Slide the mode switch to the COUNT-UP position.
  2. Press START/STOP to begin counting up from zero.
  3. To pause the count-up, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
  4. Press CLEAR to reset the count-up timer to zero.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the timer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the timer functions erratically, it is time to replace the AA battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Timer does not turn on or display is dim. Check battery installation. Replace with a fresh AA battery.
Alarm is not loud enough. Ensure the timer is not obstructed and is placed in an open area. The alarm volume is fixed.
Timer does not respond to button presses. Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a soft reset. If the issue persists, replace the battery.
