2. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions before using the appliance. Adhere to all safety warnings to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the dispenser is plugged into a grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Hot Water Safety: The hot water dispenser heats water to at least 188.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Always use the child safety lock when dispensing hot water to prevent accidental burns. Keep children away from the hot water spout.
- Placement: Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Water Bottles: Only use standard 3 or 5-gallon water bottles. Do not attempt to dispense any liquid other than potable water.
- Cleaning: Unplug the dispenser before cleaning. Do not immerse the dispenser in water.
3. Setup Guide
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Placement: Position the dispenser on a level, sturdy surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from walls to allow for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the dispenser into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not turn on the heating or cooling switches yet.
- Loading Water Bottle: Remove the cap from a 3 or 5-gallon water bottle. Carefully lift the bottle and place it onto the top loading reservoir, ensuring it is seated firmly. The bottle will automatically dispense water into the internal tanks.
- Prime the System: Before turning on the heating or cooling functions, dispense at least 1 liter of water from both the cold and hot spouts to ensure the tanks are full and air is purged from the system. This prevents dry heating of the hot tank.
- Activate Functions: Locate the hot and cold water switches on the back of the unit. Turn them to the "ON" position. Allow approximately 15-30 minutes for the water to reach optimal temperatures.
