5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the coin counter from its packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for operation and coin collection.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the machine's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Coin Collection: Position a coin collection tray or bag under the coin outlet. If using the optional coin tube, attach it securely as per its instructions.
  5. Coin Size Adjustment: Rotate the adjustment knob to match the diameter of the coins you intend to count. The machine supports coins with diameters between 14-34mm and thickness between 0.8-3.8mm.

6. Operating Modes

The Ribao CS-10S offers several counting modes to suit different needs.

6.1. Counting Mode

This is the standard mode for counting the total number of coins.

  1. Ensure the machine is powered on.
  2. Place the coins into the hopper.
  3. Press the START/STOP button to begin counting.
  4. The display will show the total count.
  5. Press CLR to clear the count.

6.2. Adding Mode (ADD)

This mode allows you to add new counts to a previous total.

  1. After a count is completed, press the ADD button.
  2. Load more coins into the hopper.
  3. Press START/STOP to continue counting. The new count will be added to the previous total.

6.3. Accumulation Mode

Similar to adding mode, this mode continuously accumulates the count across multiple batches without needing to press ADD each time.

  1. Ensure the machine is powered on.
  2. Load coins into the hopper and press START/STOP.
  3. Once the hopper is empty, refill it and press START/STOP again. The count will automatically add to the previous total.
  4. Press CLR to reset the accumulated count.

6.4. Batch Mode (BAT)

This mode allows you to count coins into specific batch quantities. The machine will pause once the set batch quantity is reached.

  1. Press the BAT button.
  2. Use the +1000, +100, +10, and +1 buttons to set your desired batch quantity.
  3. Load coins into the hopper.
  4. Press START/STOP. The machine will count until the batch quantity is reached, then pause.
  5. Remove the counted batch, then press START/STOP again to continue counting the next batch.
  6. Press CLR to exit batch mode and clear the count.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your Ribao CS-10S coin counter.

7.1. Cleaning

Dust and debris can accumulate inside the machine, affecting performance.

  1. Power Off and Unplug: Always disconnect the machine from the power source before cleaning.
  2. Open Front Panel: The front panel of the machine can be completely opened for easy access to internal components.
  3. Brush Away Debris: Use the provided cleaning brush or a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, lint, and coin residue from the hopper, counting mechanism, and coin pathways. Pay special attention to sensors and moving parts.
  4. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  5. Close Panel: Ensure the front panel is securely closed before resuming operation.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Ribao CS-10S, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
