Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the glass blending jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Assemble Blade: Ensure the stainless steel blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the glass blending jar.
- Place Jar: Position the assembled glass jar onto the motor base. Ensure it is seated correctly and locked into place (locking function).
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V).
Operating Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Cut ingredients into small pieces (approximately 2-3 cm) for optimal blending.
- Add Ingredients: Place ingredients into the glass blending jar. Do not exceed the maximum level indicator (1.5 L). For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly onto the blending jar. Ensure the filling opening is closed or used for adding ingredients during blending if necessary.
- Select Speed: Turn the control knob to your desired speed setting (Speed 1 or Speed 2). Speed 1 is suitable for lighter blending tasks, while Speed 2 is for tougher ingredients.
- Pulse Function: For short bursts of power or to chop ingredients, turn the control knob to the 'Pulse' setting and hold it. Release to stop.
- Blending: Allow the blender to run until desired consistency is achieved. Do not operate continuously for more than 60 seconds to prevent overheating. Allow a short break between cycles.
- Stop: Turn the control knob back to the 'OFF' position when blending is complete.
- Remove Jar: Carefully remove the blending jar from the motor base.
Tip: The unique 'Splash Guard' system helps prevent spills and ensures a more homogeneous blend.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your blender.
- Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Remove the blending jar from the motor base. Carefully detach the blade assembly from the jar. Remove the lid.
- Cleaning Jar and Lid: The glass blending jar, lid, and blade assembly are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water using a brush for the blades. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Cleaning Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the blender. Store in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your blender, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Blender does not turn on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Check if the blending jar is correctly seated and locked onto the motor base. The blender has a locking function that prevents operation if not properly assembled.
- Ingredients are not blending smoothly:
- Ensure ingredients are cut into small pieces.
- Add more liquid if the mixture is too thick.
- Use the pulse function to break up larger pieces or dislodge ingredients stuck around the blades.
- Do not overload the blender beyond the 1.5 L capacity.
- Blender stops during operation:
- The blender may have overheated. Turn it off, unplug it, and let it cool down for at least 15-20 minutes before attempting to use it again.
- Check for any obstructions around the blades.
- Leakage from the bottom of the jar:
- Ensure the blade assembly is tightly secured to the bottom of the glass jar.
- Check the seal/gasket for proper placement and any damage.
