6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Playing a DVD

1. Press the POWER button on the unit or remote control to turn on the player.
2. Press the DVD button on the remote or front panel to select DVD mode.
3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray.
4. Place a DVD disc gently onto the tray with the label side facing up.
5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The disc will load, and playback will typically begin automatically.
6. Use the PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND, and SKIP buttons on the remote or front panel to control playback.

6.2 Playing a VHS Tape
