Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and its base from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
  2. First Use Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface, away from the edge of the countertop.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts).

Operating Instructions

  1. Filling the Kettle: Press the button on the handle to open the hinged lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water, ensuring it is between the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.5L) marks on the water level indicator. Close the lid securely.
  2. Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base.
  3. Switching On: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the handle or base. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
  4. Boiling: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.
  5. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Be cautious of steam escaping from the spout.
  6. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water immediately after it has just boiled, wait a few seconds for the automatic shut-off mechanism to reset before pressing the switch again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  3. Interior Cleaning: The interior can be cleaned with a soft brush or sponge. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Anti-Calc Filter: The kettle is equipped with an anti-calc filter. To clean it, open the lid and gently remove the filter. Rinse it under running water. If heavily scaled, soak it in a descaling solution (see descaling instructions). Reinsert the filter securely after cleaning.
  5. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
    • Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling solution.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if scaling is heavy.
    • Empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly with fresh water several times to remove any residue and vinegar smell.
    • Repeat if necessary.
  6. Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
