2. Setup and Assembly

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all listed accessories are present. Keep packaging for future storage or transport.

2.2 Assembling the Bowls and Blades

  1. Place the main 12-cup bowl onto the motor base, aligning the handle with the front of the base and twisting clockwise until it locks securely.
  2. For smaller tasks, the 10-cup midi bowl and 6-cup mini bowl can be nested inside the main bowl. Ensure they are properly seated.
  3. Insert the desired blade or disc onto the central spindle within the bowl. For chopping, use the main serrated blade. For dough, use the dough blade. For slicing or grating, place the appropriate disc on the spindle.
  4. Secure the lid onto the bowl, aligning the feed tube with the handle and twisting clockwise until it locks. The food processor will not operate unless the lid is correctly locked.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Operation

The Magimix food processor features three simple control buttons: Stop, Auto, and Pulse.

3.2 Using the Main Blade for Chopping and Mixing

Insert the serrated main blade into the main bowl. Add ingredients through the feed tube or directly into the bowl. Use the 'Pulse' button for coarse chopping or 'Auto' for finer results. Be cautious as the blades are extremely sharp.

3.3 Kneading Dough

Attach the dough blade to the central spindle. Add flour and other dry ingredients to the bowl. With the motor running on 'Auto', gradually add liquid ingredients through the feed tube until a dough forms. The powerful motor is designed to knead dough efficiently.

3.4 Slicing and Grating

Select the appropriate slicing or grating disc and place it on the spindle. Secure the lid. Place ingredients into the feed tube and use the pusher to guide them through while the motor is running on 'Auto'.

3.5 Blending Liquids with BlenderMix

For blending soups, sauces, or other liquids, attach the BlenderMix accessory. This accessory ensures a watertight seal and optimizes the blending vortex for smooth results. Use the 'Auto' setting for continuous blending.
