3. Setup and Battery Installation

3.1 Vehicle Battery Installation

The Air Hogs Hyper Actives 5 vehicle requires 6 AAA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the vehicle.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 6 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

3.2 Controller Battery Installation

The controller/charger requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the controller.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

3. Turn on the controller using its power switch.
4. The vehicle and controller should automatically pair. A light on the controller will indicate a successful connection.

Familiarize yourself with the controller's functions:

• Left Joystick: Controls forward and backward movement.
• Right Joystick: Controls steering (left and right).
