4. Installation Guide
Installation typically involves connecting the adapter to the CD changer port at the rear of your Volvo's car radio. Most radios have a changer control port, even if a CD changer is not currently installed.
- Access the Radio: Carefully remove your car radio from the dashboard to access its rear connections. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions on radio removal.
- Connect the Adapter: Locate the CD changer port on the back of your Volvo HU radio. Connect the provided 1-meter Volvo HU connection cable from the Yatour unit to this port.
- Connect Bluetooth Module (Optional): If using the Bluetooth function, connect the Bluetooth module to the designated port on the Yatour unit.
- Install Microphone: Connect the microphone to the Bluetooth module. Route the 3-meter microphone cable to a suitable location near the driver's head, such as on the sun visor or A-pillar, for optimal voice pickup during hands-free calls.
- Secure the Unit: Find a secure and discreet location for the Yatour unit and Bluetooth module within the dashboard or glove compartment.
- Reassemble: Carefully re-install your car radio into the dashboard.
Note: No coding is required for the radio or the car after installation. The radio does not need to support MP3 files directly for the Yatour unit to function.

For Volvo HU-650/850 models, please note that folder selection may not be controllable directly from the radio.
