4. Setup
4.1 Placement
- Install the inverter in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
- Mount the inverter securely on a non-combustible surface.
- Ensure at least 6 inches of clear space around all sides for proper airflow.
4.2 Wiring Connections
Refer to the connection diagram below for proper wiring. All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes.

Figure 4.2.1: Typical Connection Diagram. This diagram illustrates how the inverter connects to utility power, a generator, a solar panel system (via a solar controller), a 24V battery bank, and various home appliances.
4.2.1 DC Battery Connection
- Use appropriate gauge cables for your 24V battery bank. Consult the manual for recommended cable sizes based on distance and current.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery bank to the positive (+) terminal on the inverter.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery bank to the negative (-) terminal on the inverter.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Connect the Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) cable to the designated port on the inverter and attach the sensor to the battery bank for accurate temperature compensation during charging.
4.2.2 AC Input Connection (Utility/Generator)
- Connect the AC input from your utility grid or generator to the AC input terminals on the inverter.
- Ensure proper polarity: Line (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (G).
- Install an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse on the AC input line for protection.
4.2.3 AC Output Connection (Loads)
- Connect your AC loads (appliances) to the AC output terminals or directly to the output sockets on the inverter.
- Ensure the total wattage of connected appliances does not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating.
4.2.4 Grounding
- Connect the inverter's chassis ground terminal to a reliable earth ground. This is crucial for safety.
4.3 DIP Switch Settings
The inverter features DIP switches for customizing various operational parameters. Refer to the specific settings in your detailed user manual for precise configurations. Key settings include:
- Utility/Battery Priority: Determines whether the inverter prioritizes AC input or battery power.
- Low Battery Trip Voltage: Sets the voltage at which the inverter will shut down to protect batteries.
- AC Input Range: Adjusts the acceptable voltage range for AC input.
- Output Frequency Setting: Configures the AC output frequency (e.g., 50Hz or 60Hz).
- Power Saver Setting: Enables or disables power saving mode to reduce idle consumption.

Figure 4.3.1: Battery Compatibility and Charging Features. This image illustrates the inverter's compatibility with LiFePO4, Lithium-ion, AGM, Sealed Lead Acid, and GEL batteries, along with the battery temperature sensor protection, 9 battery type selector, and 0-100% adjustable charging current.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Ensure all connections are secure. Turn on the DC breaker (if installed) to connect the battery. Then, switch the inverter's power button to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate, indicating operational status.
- To Power Off: Disconnect all AC loads. Switch the inverter's power button to the 'OFF' position. Then, turn off the DC breaker to disconnect the battery.
5.2 Inverter Mode
When the inverter is powered on and no AC input is present, it will draw power from the connected 24V battery bank and convert it to 120V AC power for your appliances. The LCD display will show output voltage, frequency, and load percentage.
5.3 Battery Charging Mode
When a stable AC input (utility or generator) is connected and the inverter is powered on, it will automatically begin charging the connected battery bank. The charging current can be adjusted via DIP switches or the remote control. The LCD display will show charging status and battery voltage.
5.4 Remote Control Usage
The included LCD remote control allows for convenient monitoring and adjustment of inverter settings from a distance. It displays real-time information such as input/output voltage, frequency, battery status, and fault codes. Refer to the remote control's specific instructions for navigation and setting changes.
