Setup and Assembly

Your Graco CitiLite R Stroller comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare it for use:

1. Unfolding the Stroller: Release the storage latch, typically located on the side of the frame. Lift the handlebar firmly until the stroller frame fully extends and locks into place. Listen for an audible click to confirm it is securely open.
2. Attaching Wheels (if separate): If the wheels are not pre-attached, push each wheel onto its axle until it clicks securely into place. Pull on the wheel to ensure it is firmly attached.
3. Verifying Assembly: Before first use, ensure all parts are securely connected and all locking mechanisms are engaged.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Handlebar

The Graco CitiLite R Stroller features a reversible and height-adjustable handlebar, allowing your child to face you or the world.

1. To Reverse Direction: Locate the release buttons or levers on both sides of the handlebar. Press these simultaneously and pivot the handlebar over the canopy to the desired position. Ensure it locks securely into place.

Reclining the Seat

Securing Your Child with the 5-Point Harness

2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
3. Insert the buckle tongues into the buckle housing until they click.

Using the Wheels and Brakes

• Lockable Front Swivel Wheels: For maneuverability, the front wheels can swivel. For stability on uneven terrain or when parking, engage the wheel locks, typically a lever or button near each front wheel.
• Brakes: To engage the parking brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal(s) located near the rear wheels. Ensure the stroller does not move. To release, lift the pedal(s) up. Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.

Folding the Stroller

The Graco CitiLite R Stroller features a convenient one-hand fold mechanism.

1. Ensure the seat is in its most upright position and the canopy is retracted.
