Setup

1. Battery Installation

The BY-VM190 microphone requires one 9V battery for operation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the microphone body.
  2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Mounting the Microphone

The BY-VM190 features an integrated shock mount designed to attach to a camera's hot shoe or cold shoe.

  1. Slide the microphone's shoe mount into your camera's hot shoe or cold shoe.
  2. Tighten the locking wheel on the shoe mount to secure the microphone in place.
  3. For optimal audio, ensure the microphone is pointed towards your sound source.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
