Setup
Battery Installation
The Freckled Pup requires 4 x 1.5V C Alkaline Batteries, which are included with the product. To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the pup.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the 4 C batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Securely close the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw.

Initial Activation
After installing the batteries, locate the power switch, usually near the battery compartment. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the pup. The pup may begin to move its head or make sounds upon activation.
